Brandon Marshall on Green Bay: 'This is personal'
December 12, 2012, 12:42 pm
Brandon Marshall has had two games in which he was limited to just two receptions. One was in San Francisco, the other was in Green Bay.
Going into the latter, quarterback Jay Cutler had told the Green Bay defensive backs, “Good luck.”

After Marshall was held – he says literally, by Packers DB’s – to his two catches and the Bears had lost, members of the Green Bay secondary made disparaging comments about Cutler.
“Same old Jay,” said safety Charles Woodson.

Those remarks and others about Marshall’s play left the franchise wideout angry at the time and no less so now.
“This is personal,” Marshall said on Wednesday, after coming to the podium carrying a Charlie Brown Christmas tree with Vince Giraldi’s famous jazz tune playing. He was not in a Christmas-y mood, however.

“I really dislike the Green Bay Packers,” Marshall said. And to Woodson, who is expected back in the lineup after several weeks out with injury: “Welcome back, Charles.”
