Cutler's 'fatherly instincts' kick in while tying Webb's shoe

The replay showed it over again, although it was worth a few looks: Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, kneeling down to tie left tackle J’Marcus Webb’s shoe during the fourth quarter of the team’s 28-10 victory over the Minnesota Vikings
It was an amusing gesture, and one that Cutler said tapped into his inner dad.
“I loosened it and tied it. I think my fatherly instincts were kicking in,” Cutler said. "I was trying to keep the drive going so we wouldn’t have to burn a timeout, but we burned it anyway.”
Still, it was a light-hearted moment late in a game the Bears controlled from the start. And it gave his teammates reason to chuckle.
“It was kind of funny. For the simple fact that [Webb] is like 10 feet tall and Jay’s 3 feet tall compared to him,” right tackle Jonathan Scott said. “It was interesting to see.”
Wide receiver Brandon Marshall agreed.
“I don’t know if that’s Cutler-like,” Marshall said, “but it was pretty cool and we were all cheering in the huddle.”
