The Big Ten is expected to grow by two as the University of Maryland's regents unanimously approved the school's move to the Big Ten on Monday morning. Rutgers is expected to join the list of East Coast additions as well.
Penn State (1990) and Nebraska (2010) were the most recent schools added to the conference, and although Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany didn't seem interesting in continuing to expand back in September, the number of schools in the conference will now jump to 14.
