DePaul got a glimpse of the future Wednesday with the release of their Big East men’s basketball schedule. Highlights include hosting Notre Dame and reigning Big East tournament champs Louisville.
The schedule sees the Blue Demons opening the Big East season at Allstate Arena when they take on Seton Hall on Jan. 2. Other games at DePaul’s home in Rosemont include St. John’s, Notre Dame, Villanova, Rutgers, UConn, Louisville and Pitt.
DePaul went 3-15 in conference play last season, losing the opening game to Syracuse 87-68 before defeating Pitt days later 84-81.
The match-up with Notre Dame on Feb. 2 will be the 103rd meeting between the two schools. The 104th will take place 11 days later when the Blue Demons travel to South Bend.
Five of the team’s 18 Big East games will be televised nationally.
The complete schedule can be found on the school’s athletic department website.
